ELEVEN YEAR OLD SAVES MOTHER IN CAR ACCIDENT
Once in a while, something good comes out of a car accident. We’ve probably all read inspirational stories about a hero who helped save the life of a person involved in an accident. Most of the time, the hero is an adult who exhibits extraordinary bravery or skill in helping another.
The news report below describes how an eleven year old boy helped save his mother’s life after their jeep vehicle went down an embankment and overturned in a creek of water. The young boy was able to crawl out and go for help.
After reading this article, the thought struck me that it might be wise to talk with children occasionally about what they could or should do if they or someone else is involved in an accident. We never know when this information could help save a life.
